Looking for a few good lords and ladies...
We need people who are open to a new experience in using their own
talents in a different way while developing new ones:
Web Master: Someone who is willing to maintain our
webpage, post updates, supervising guestbook, etc. -requires about
20 min or so of work every 2 weeks
Pub Sing Coordinator: Someone willing to work with
cast & villagers to create our end of the day "pub sing"
under instruction and guidelines of the director. - Must have patience,
musical knowledge and an ability to direct.
Assistant Director :Someone to act as the director's
"right hand man" and not be afraid to make calls on their
behalf. Our director is an actor as well, and we need someone to implement
her format and guidelines, direct the director,Watch actors on rehearsals
and the first day to ensure that upstaging does not occur and that continuity
remains throughout the event, and take charge of the actors on the weekend
of the event. -must be dedicated & be at every rehearsal and
all shows.
Media Relations / Promotions: Someone who is able to
represent the festival to the press in a positive manner based on the
guidelines and instructions of the producer. Must also find and books
interviews for the producer,as well as be able to go in the producer’s
stead if the producer is unable to attend. Writes and sends out press
releases and passes after approval from producer. - public speaking
skills are a benefit.
Sponsorship Coordinator: Someone who can go out and
find sponsors for the event or something specific to the event ( such
as a stage, an actor, the green room, the project) Also assists the
designer in finding advertisers for the program book.
Entertainment Coordinator: Someone who can book and
tend to stage performers. We need someone personable but does not stray
from contract specifications, sticks to rules without showing favoritism
and guarantees that all performers sign release forms on the weekend
of.
Stage Squires and Wenches: A few happy people who work
with the Entertainment Coordinator. Each squire/wench is dedicated to
one of the stages where they sell the performer's merchandise, keep
the stage schedule, updates performance signs and check the performer's
badges and passes.
General Volunteers – We need good volunteers
in various areas, some of which are:
- Games and Rides
- Set Up
- Tear Down
- Security
- Front Gate
- Photography (please provide us with unedited copies of the pictures
taken, we will give you full credit)
